  • Course Duration: 14 Days, 112.5 Total Hours.
  • Suitable for:
    1. Event Operations Manager/Assistant Manager/Supervisor, Team Lead in event organization.
    2. Industry practitioners from related sectors who want to enhance their skills and knowledge pertaining to the BTMICE industry.
    3. Individuals in other related industries wanting to expand their job portfolio or are seeking national certification/qualification.
    4. Career switchers with managerial or leadership experience.
  • Requirements:
    1. English literacy.
    2. Computer literacy.
    3. Preferably GCE ‘N’ / ‘O’ levels, or at least 2 years relevant experience.
    4. Preferably between 21 to 62 years of age.
  • Certification Provided
    1. Electronic certificates (e-Certs) will be issued to trainees who have attended and attained competency in Singapore Workforce Skills Qualifications (WSQ) training modules or have attained full WSQ qualifications.
    2. e-Certs are verifiable online and nationally recognised.

Course Content

  • Events Planning and Management
    1. Develop and execute event plans, manage event timelines, budgets, logistics and setup, and learn to assess the effectiveness of event planning management.
  • Sponsorship Management
    1. Identify sponsorship requirements and organize activities according to sponsorship and financial parameters. Facilitate acquisition of sponsorship opportunities and timely execution of sponsorship agreements.
  • Delegates and Participants Management
    1. Manage policies and procedures for the management, registration and engagement of participants, including participants’ travel management. Develop procedures to manage participants.
  • Vendor Management
    1. Manage vendor relationships by ensuring performance as per contracts, operations within standards established by the organization such as adherence to safety, security, compliance standards. Develop and sustain vendor relationships and manage vendor performance.
  • Crowd Control and Planning
    1. Manage crowd control within defined boundaries including crowd control planning and risk mitigation strategies. Develop plans and procedures for effective crowd control.
  • Accident and Incident Response Management
    1. Deploy tools, procedures and resources to respond to accidents and incidents efficiently. Oversee the management of accidents and incidents, from planning to command and control in emergency response centers.
  • Strategies for Winning and Retaining Customers
    1. Learn the ropes on how to win and retain customers from our professional trainers.
